The new owner of Flathead Moms for Moms, Krystle Oftedahl
My husband and I are true Flathead natives. Bert is a 1998 graduate of Flathead High School and I am a 2002 graduate of Whitefish High School. Growing up in the Flathead, I find it very easy to transition into my role as Community Owner of Flathead Moms for Moms.
Besides our favorite pastimes of camping, hunting, fishing, riding our dirt bikes, and parenting our 3 beautiful girls, I also am a lover of God, creative cake master, hardworking executive assistant for a criminal justice attorney here in Kalispell, doula for the best midwifery and women’s health care around, farm hand during the summers and basically an all-around “Jill” of all trades. I pretty much see every challenge a dare and will put my heart and soul into it. As long as I have my hair bands on the radio and a pizza in the oven.
Shortly after I discovered I was pregnant with our third munchkin, I made the difficult decision to leave the work force to stay home with her. This was a very difficult decision as I don’t think I have ever not worked a day in my life since I was 10! Since we live in the woods on the outskirts of Kalispell, I was desperate to find something to do with all my munchkins and craved adult conversation. When I heard about Moms for Moms on Facebook, I joined the community and soon after became their sales representative. Eventually, the opportunity to become a community owner was available and I felt the calling to help other mothers and families the way that they had helped me.
As of this September 2016, I will become the next owner of Flathead Moms for Moms and am super excited to be able to connect, inform and inspire other moms to be the best they can be inside the home and out.
I sincerely hope to meet you all at any of the Moms night out events and more!
